Hi, I’m Josh. This is my place on the internet to share some of my projects, interests, and opinions. My main areas of interest are computer vision, physics, statistics and machine learning, and photography. Luckily for me, there is a lot of overlap.
I work on developing novel computer vision products for James Fisher – AIS. I have previously worked in agrotech building robots for smarter farming, in medical imaging, where I developed imaging technologies for keyhole surgery, and in airspace management, building systems for identifying and tracking UAVs/drones using specialised camera systems.
I have a PhD in Physics (Biomedical imaging) from the University of Nottingham, where I developed novel ways of efficiently collecting MRI data and reconstructing it to speed up the imaging process with minimal loss of image/information quality.
